Daily Class Blog 1/9/08

Reading: We got 3 or 4 books. We went to our seats and read. Some of us partner read. Some of us went to the library to check out books.

Writing: We got our supplies. We wrote in our books. We are writing about all sorts of things.

Math: We played a game. We had to cut out rectangles and pretend they were chocolate bars. We picked one of the rectangles and pretended to eat them. We answered questions about our activity.

Social Studies: We did a page about the Statue of Liberty. We went on the computer to find the answers.

Art: We practiced drawing our lynx for the yearbook contest. We each decided on our own background or border and practiced that, too.
